Hello
I have a circuit diagram to test on a circuit simulator and I can’t find the LM78xx regulator component. How do I proceed or how do I look for it? I AM A BEGINNER ON THE SIMULATOR.
You can replace the 78XX output voltage with a direct voltage separately for that DC line. For example if the IC 7805, then you can replace it with a +5V input DC
Thanks for the advice, but I’m not sure if it will work on this circuit. I found the schematic online, built it, and it’s currently working. However, the original design lacks protection for the relay contacts, the relay coil, and the LM7812 regulator. I’ve added these features myself and want to test them in a simulator to check for any errors.
I’m not sure how to send you a picture of the schematic for feedback. For the power supply, I’m using a transformer (approx. 60-65A) with six 12-17V outputs, a heavy-duty rotary switch from an old welding machine, a 150A bridge rectifier, and a digital volt-ammeter with a 100A shunt. If everything works correctly, I will post it publicly on your website along with more details.
If the simulator does not support these ICs then it can be impossible to simulate the results, instead you can use a BJT equivalent current controlled regulator, such as the following: https://www.homemade-circuits.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/simplest-bench-power-supply.jpg

hi sir, sir in 220c fan regulater with push button, can we use 105j. 155j, 255j 400v insted of 0.33uf 400v? and this 7555 ic is same ne555 commen ic or its changed. plz guide me
Hi Ghulam, 105 can be used if an NTC is included in series with it along with a 22 ohm 2 watt resistor.
7555 is the CMOS version of 555 which will generate the PWMs with higher accuracy…
Both 555s are interchangeable…
sir i tried to find out 7555 cmos ic, but its not available in local markeet. from ali express its costly in my area for online dilvery, can we use ne555 ic?
Hello, thank you for answering my question. I used to have a plasma spot removal machine. I had a vacuum lamp, but it burned out. I can’t get it, and the machine is unusable. I need to build a machine with new technology.
Hello, I have made a BFO metal detector circuit using two 555 ICs. One in the transmitter and one in the receiver. In the transmitter section, there is a D2058 MOSFET. It should be connected to the third IC pin with a resistor, one pin to the negative, and one pin to one end of the transmitter coil. I don’t know which pin to connect. Also, in the receiver section, there is a C3199 transistor, one pin to the second IC pin, one pin to the negative, and one pin to the negative. But I don’t know how, which pin goes where, and also the values of the capacitors and resistors. Pins eight, seven, and six. Please advise. If there is a diagram, please send me the schematic circuit of a pulse metal detector that uses two 555 ICs. Show me the colors and values of the resistors, capacitors, and all the details. Thank you.
Hello, I am very grateful to you, dear teacher. Thank you for answering my question. Teacher, please specify where and how the receiver coil is placed.
I want to build a small device that will turn off power to a 120v device that is plugged into it for period of time by pushing a button. Each press of the button should increase the time off by 10 minutes and then back on again when the time expires. Please show schematics, code and wiring diagram.
Hi sir,
I have made a transformer less solar inverter which works perfectly fine giving sine 220 vac but not finding a suitable battery charger for my 20 number of 12 volt battery series of 32 Ah which I will charge by a series of solar panel comprising 7 * 585 watt with 50 voc. Can I charge the battery directly or need a mppt solar controller?
please give your valuable support on this.
Regards
Amit Kumar
Hi Amit,
You do not require any MPPT for your current setup, and charge the battery directly and effectively from your solar panels, however, your solar panel power far exceeds the requirement of your battery, assuming your batteries are lead acid type…so if you do not want to waste the extra available power from your solar panels, then you can use a buck converter and channelize the excess power to operate some other load like water heater etc. Otherwise you can simply use a dump regulator to burn the extra current from the solar panel and regulate the power appropriately for the battery bank.
Alternatively, the same rule can be applied if the batteries are li-ion type, for charging the batteries quickly within 4 hours of peak sunshine.
Thanks for your reply.
The solar array gives continuous power to my 1.5 ton hot& cold ac and will charge the battery through a sic diode FFSH4065D and extra power to be used by an induction heater.
According to my calculations, your panel gives 350V at 11 amp current (585/50).
Your inverter lead acid battery charging requirement is 240V @ 6 amps.
So your panel is producing 350V, 5 amp extra, that’s the only excess power it is generating.
You can use a 5 amp rated extra load with the panel…
Hi Swagatam
I recently purchased a new iPad, I noticed that it doesn’t have a 3.5 mm headphone socket like my old iPad has.
I was wondering if you have a Circuit Diagram of a Bluetooth Adapter, I would need to be able to plug a 3.5 mm set of headphones into the Bluetooth Adapter and this Bluetooth Adapter should be able to connect to my iPad.
The Bluetooth Adapter Circuit Diagram would also need to have a audio circuit, or a audio module that I could purchase.
Any information/ help would be very much appreciated.
Hi Kev,
I think the PCB module is readily available online…you can search for:
“Bluetooth 3.0 Audio Receiver Module with Stereo Output”
You can connect a 3.5mm jack at its output and use it for your application…
Thank you for your message Swagatam, I found a Bluetooth Audio Module on Aliexpress for about £0.058 so I ordered 2 of them.
Thank you for your help and information
hi…swagatam ,pls can you make a post on how to wind a ferrite toroidal core for a series pass buck converter with all the formulas and parameters just like this post on transformer? thank you…

Engr. good day Sir, please I need your help with the circuit diagram of a 280v DC motor speed
controller…
thanks,
Hi Sunshine, you can try the following concept:
https://www.homemade-circuits.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/120V-motor-speed-controller-circuit.jpg
Make sure to change the MOSFET with IRF840, and the 10k 10W will heat up significantly, if you don’t want that then you can employ a small buck converter instead.

why is that when i coonect strong machines the power cuts and chip blinks 2 times and off
I could be because of high current or severe voltage drop…
tienes algún plano o diagrama de bajo para aumentar el bajo ó que los parlantes den bajo solo
Sure, you can investigate it here:

Hello Saeed, it is not recommended to make a plasms mole removal machine at home, because that can be dangerous…

I’m want to use 5 pics of 1n4007 diode instead of 1 pics to increase the amp by 5 times is it ok
You can connect them in parallel and wrap them up tightly with each other along with some heatsink paste, then they may work as intended…
cara membuat hemat listrik bagaimana
i actually mailed you a pwm circuit i updated. can you kindly check that and reply if that can work?
Thanks Bivash, I have replied to your email…
saludos Swagatam tengo una burman 650 voy hacer el último circuito publicado pruebo y te estoy diciendo que tal me fue saludos

Do you want it to be on Arduino??
Yes, thanks
What should be the off timing of the initial first button press? Once the period lapses should the timing reset?
The off time should be 10 minutes. Once the period lapses, it should not reset. It should stay on until pushed again.
Please provide the full step-by-step operational details of your application.
