  5. sir can you help about the circuit for ac regulator for the incoming supply from the meter,that during the under voltage it should cut off the supply and also during over voltage it should cut off the supply rather than protecting the refrigerator only

    1. Yohana, please search the circuit using the search box above and use the related circuit at the entrance of the house wiring so that it can protect the entire house electrical, but make sure the relay is accordingly rated.

    i have three circuits need to power 2 ckt's with 12v 500ma and 1 with 12v 250ma. i

    have a 12v 1amp transformer. i would like to use this single transformer to power them.

    can u pls tell me what are the values of resistors can i use here for two different

    current ratings with powering same voltage.

    1. Hi Vamsi, the input current is never crucial, it can be 1 amp or 100 amp it does not make any difference, it is the voltage that's crucial in order to ensure safe operation of the connected loads.

      If the trafo output is 12V and the circuits are also rated at 12V then you can connect them directly with the 1 amp trafo, there's no need of any additional control circuit in the middle.

Since the Raspberry PI is now for quite sometime in use in India, what I feel if you could provide us with a circuit of UPS with all vital protections for Raspberry PI 5Volts 2.5Amp (though 2Amp is recommended by Raspberry for general use but it may shoot up if I plug some current hungry devices through USB ports) to take care of additional loads given to Pi based projects. Hope to get that sooner. Regards,
